How big is a typical British garden? The honest answer requires decisions most articles skip: what counts as the garden, which records include land beyond it, and which cohorts are being compared. We are building that answer from licensed property and land-coverage data, computed deterministically.
The study will publish distributions rather than a single misleading average, with sample sizes, exclusions and dataset dates shown beside every figure. Aggregate findings will be downloadable; the underlying property-level records will not.
